Investigating the Impact of Formative Feedback on Writing Skills of English Language Learners at Undergraduate Level in South Punjab, Pakistan

In Pakistan English language is taught from primary to the level of graduation as compulsory subject. A lot efforts have been made by government improve teaching foreign in order achieve proficiency, but unfortunately, it has reported that competency students not up mark. Such a deteriorating situation majorly observed writing skill students. Formative feedback considered powerful tool which enhances performance process learning and production skills i.e. speaking. The present study aimed trace out impact formative on learners at undergraduate South Punjab, Pakistan. data for collected through mixed method approach. Pre- Test, Post-Test, Open ended questionnaire follow interviews were used tools collection. There two randomly selected groups BS students, semester 7th studying Bahadur Sub Campus Layyah, Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan, 25 each group controlled experimental. experimental administered four months. analyzed reveals significant improving confidence It suggested teachers should adopt their classrooms make more effective, productive, creative interactive.
